les pâtes, encore!
Does anyone know how to add a pic when replying to a post, as in leaving a comment? I wanted to post this pic in the thread of comments related to the JOY of Homemade Pasta, but couldn’t, so here it is, by itself. The dinner was Oct 8, so it’s a bit belated. O vell.
I used half and half instead of heavy whipping cream, and tapioca starch as a thickening agent. The color comes from the sun dried tomatoes and some fat from the sausages. It was delish. It tastes much like the Pasta Milano at the Macaroni Grill, one of my favorites! I am sure chicken or any other meat, or vegetable would do just as well! Now that I look at the pic, I think I should have added some peas at least (no green!).
